The public is invited to an evening of thoughtful discussion and community dialogue when Joe Thomas, Ph.D., of the United States Naval Academy’s Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership, presents a special program entitled “Leadership and the American Experience” on Tuesday, June 23, at the Avalon Theatre in Easton, Maryland. The free event will take place from 7–8:30 pm, with doors opening at 6:30 pm. A cash bar will be available prior to the program.
Dr. Thomas will begin the evening with a 30-minute presentation exploring the role of leadership in shaping the American experience, drawing on his expertise in ethics, character, and civic engagement. Following his remarks, he will moderate a panel discussion featuring distinguished community leaders, John Horner, President and CEO of Easton Utilities; Butch Townsend, Regional President of the East Region, Shore United Bank, Amy Wilson, VP Commercial Banking of Burke & Herbert Bank; and Savannah Winston, owner of VanTech Business Solutions.
The evening will conclude with an audience question-and-answer session, providing attendees an opportunity to engage directly with the speakers.
