Shore Leadership 2.0 – Class of 2026
Shore Leadership 2.0 is designed for graduates of Shore Leadership who want to learn more about leadership and reflect on their personal leadership journey. Shore Leadership Facilitators, Joe Thomas, PhD and Celeste Raver, PhD lead the Shore Leadership 2.0 sessions. The program consists of five sessions including one overnight experience. The first day focuses on the Psychology of Leadership. The second session focuses on Artificial Intelligence. The third session is a day on Tangier Island, examining the leadership on the island and observing the culture of the island, including obstacles they work to overcome despite the environmental elements. The next morning the class focuses on Developing Cross-Cultural Competencies for Leaders. The fourth session focuses on Empathy as a Leader. The fifth and final session focuses on Energy work and taking care of yourself as a Leader. Class members take time to reflect on their own leadership and how they can take care of themselves to be better leaders. The class has the opportunity to select additional leadership topics that they want to cover during the program. Topics and activities may change each year. Alumni dues must be paid in full prior to acceptance into the Shore Leadership 2.0 Program.
